The Remote Plus app cannot find my Bluetooth hearing aids. What should I do?

If the Remote Plus app doesn't connect to your Bluetooth hearing aids, try these troubleshooting steps:

  • Restart your hearing aids: For models with a battery door, open it, wait 5 seconds, then close it again. For rechargeable models without a battery door, turn off each hearing aid by pressing and holding the lower part of the button until the LED turns red (about 4 seconds). Then turn each one back on by pressing the same button until the LED turns green (about 2 seconds).
  • Re-pair your hearing aids: Remove the paired hearing aids from your smartphone's Bluetooth settings, then pair them again with your phone.
  • Restart your phone: Reboot your mobile phone, then reconnect the hearing aids through the Unitron Remote Plus app.
